Available Classes
Adult Mixed Martial Arts
Our Adult mixed martial arts class meets Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7pm-8:30pm. This class focuses on a well rounded fight game with equal importance placed on boxing, kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, and wrestling. With a combination of all of these styles, you can actively defend yourself in any hand to hand situation including standing, clinch, and ground based fighting. We recommend you have a mouthpiece and athletic supporter for this class as well as some grappling shorts and t shirt.
Family Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
We also offer a beginner’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu course on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5-6pm. This class is a family based class and includes both children and adults. The focus of this class is on gi grappling and brazilian jiu-jitsu. This class teaches basic jiu-jitsu but more advanced students are free to attend and practice as well. This class requires a gi and belt.
Kickboxing / Conditioning
Our Kickboxing / Conditioning Class is Monday and Wednesday from 6-7pm and focuses primarily on boxing and Muay Thai style kickboxing. There is also a strong emphasis in conditioning as well and the mix of cardio-vascular training and kickboxing technique makes for a good combination as you get in shape and learn competition level kick boxing techniques. This class requires a set of boxing gloves and a jump rope. Hand wraps, shin guards, mouthpiece, and athletic supporter are also recommended.
Freestyle / Folkstyle Wrestling
An exciting new addition to our line-up is our Folkstyle / Freestyle Wrestling Class. This class is for wrestlers interested in continuing their learning and practice year round or fighters interested in maintaining good takedowns, takedown defense, and ground positioning as they learn mixed martial arts. This class requires wrestling shoes and wrestling headgear but a mouthpiece and cup are also recommended.
Women’s Muay Thai
This class is a structured kickboxing class for women which focuses on the fundamentals of the style as well as implementing a strength and conditioning aspect to anyone interested in training. The class is for women only and allows you to work with other women, most of whom are beginners, in Muay Thai techniques and drills. The class is taught by WKA North American Champion Kickboxer Camilla Meshiea who has been training in Muay Thai for over 6 years. This class meets Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm-8pm. Gear for class includes boxing gloves, hand wraps, shin guards, a jump rope and a mouthpiece.Athletic clothing is also recommended.
Kid’s Martial Arts
Kid’s need self-defense just as much as anyone and can definitely grow in discipline and self-control by learning mixed martial arts. Our youth martial arts class is geared towards teaching kids all areas of martial arts from self-defense, discipline and focus to competition and fitness conditioning. Our unique style teaches children to defend themselves while on their feet or on the ground and includes techniques from wrestling, brazilian jiu-jitsu, and kickboxing. We are enrolling for classes now, so sign your child up before class is filled!
